Tsuji, a high school student whose sister was killed by a spirit several years before the beginning of the story, joins his school's Paranormal Research Club after hearing rumours of its president being a brilliant exorcist, hoping to gain the skills necessary to avenge his deceased sister.

Marriage Royale's story revolves around the male protagonist, a high school student named Tsukasa Hinomoto, who is told one day by his parents that he was adopted.
